    Sometimes I wonder if the MC is an *d**t or something. He is surrounded by dark practitioners who regularly do researches, studies and experiments. Him showing off all these exaggerated stats would make people want to cut him up and see how this is possible. Plus he doesn't even have a strong backing.

      Well, he has support. That alchemist. The principal supports him mainly because of that, and all of the main character's secrets are easily blamed on the alchemist, thinking it's his merit. As for how careless he's being, that will be addressed later, around chapter 500. The thing is, part of his shadow has been taken away, so he doesn't have negative feelings in response to what's going on. And if he does, he quickly forgets them (or rather ignores them) - a merit of the director. Now he's already gotten his shadow back and left the academy, so I guess the more interesting part starts from here.

      After reading into 500 chapters, I can conclude that the power hierarchy and history is a derivative of LotM styles with an new core of origins. It's just plain injustice that I find most of the descriptions are in vain
