Empires rise and fall on the Yulan Continent. Saints, immortal beings of unimaginable power, battle using spells and swords, leaving swathes of destruction in their wake. Magical beasts rule the mountains, where the brave – or the foolish – go to test their strength. Even the mighty can fall, feasted on by those stronger. The strong live like royalty; the weak strive to survive another day.
This is the world which Linley is born into. Raised in the small town of Wushan, Linley is a scion of the Baruch clan, the clan of the once-legendary Dragonblood Warriors. Their fame once shook the world, but the clan is now so decrepit that even the heirlooms of the clan have been sold off. Tasked with reclaiming the lost glory of his clan, Linley will go through countless trials and tribulations, making powerful friends but also deadly enemies.
Come witness a new legend in the making. The legend of Linley Baruch!

Çok güzeldi ama bence bitmemeliydi son biraz değişikti
I'm only at book 6 but my god... it seems the author decided to throw the very last braincell of the MC down the drain.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry now that novel has ended. This is easily 9/10 for me. Great side characters and decent MC (i think over the time i loved mc growth even when he makes questionable decisions you can get why he did that) + for no harem. Very few young master and one we get in later chapters is not braindead he doesn’t court death for being too stupid (the island young master. Villlans are decent they are not stupid like usual Chinese novels Another great thing this novel although only 807 chapters but has long chapters and author doesn’t unnecessarily stretch plots. Story has great tension while also being lighter tone (like you know mc is gona fine but you still feel the stakes) The major problem I have is how people can come back to life this makes certain things boring I can’t spoil it anyway this isn’t even major issue but just my take. I would definitely recommend people to read it. My fav I eat tomato’s novel so far (only read 2)
This is fantastic, it’s the first cultivation novel that I’ve completed. It’s so good. The characters were great and quite human, the world was well thought out and the power system was great. Fantastic!! 10/10
can't he be more rational? i think he got maggot in his head, always relying on external help thinkin they will save him in time of crisis, full of plot armour. only middle schoolers will enjoy this. dropped.
book 13 - it frustrates me that man you stoop so low as you're always relying to beirut and tarosse to hold the fort for you, always relyin on plot armour, always thinking that others can solve your problem? yo believin on power of friendship eh? yet the worst arc i read.
finished it yesterday 7/30/2023 and it was an incredibly enjoyable read, I feel the ending a tiny bit rushed and it left me craving for more, def could have been a lot longer, but its overall fantastic
Genuinely one of my favorite novels hands down (coming from a guy who definitely read at least 1k novels). The translation is incredibly solid, so much so that i didn't even realize it was a translation for a little while. No harem but there is a romance. The power system is one that im quite fond of (although it has alot of possibilities for *ss-pulls) The mc and overall cast of characters was loveable and the plot was pretty great too. not many important 'young masters' that i can remember either. Overall: 9/10 probably the best cultivation ive read in a looooong while, hands-down, def reccomend
This novel is a 6.5 /10 for me. It was a very predictable read for the most part. For example it was easy for me to guess his dad was going to die and it would be because of the church. It was easy to predict dowhering was gonna die saving him. Also dont like how they forgot about magic/sculpting after he advanced from saint level. Why make mc a magus if he wasnt gonna use spells/magic as a god. i wish there were more people he cared about that died. Besides delias near death experience, no one else dies. the author knew this which is why he had the Mcs brothers die to odin. And i hate that he was able to revive/save his dead ones, it defeated the entire purpose of their death. PLUS HE EVEN FORGOT TO SAVE CENAS WIFE AND KIDS! Also the mc never used any of his laws of water or fire Until he started fusing the 4 laws(last 70 chapters). Still a great read tho.
one of the best novels i read, it's worth your time, i hope you feel the same as me while reading this masterpiece
