On the chapter I'm in Leonel is on a island with a force eruption, he recently awakened his Metal Synergy Bloodline opening 9 doors first try and for some reason the color of his runes became a purple bronze, and he recently saved a mink that comprehended a dark element force strengthening deviation.

It should be close ish then, when he comes in contact with his grandmother is when the novel really kicks off imo (although ngl the first bit of that was my least favorite part of the book)

Nah...he barely gets any help from him except for protection in his name and even that was going to go away...killing the family is the stupidest way for story progression and so 2017...they did the same with supremacy games and it was what brought down the rating for that novel, no wonder why this ones rating is falling too

Nah all yourself who is the story about us it Vel or Leo , and after you come to and understanding what is the purpose of his dad in the story, he was a bed time story "the buginan" all this time we thought of him as just the strict father but as we saw in the glasses he wore that was the front he put on, he lived his son, but in the grand scheme of things if his father is a looming that Leo as a character will never grow up, he will always rely on his dad coming to save the day, hate it it love it done how awspec had to make up a reason why his dad just said and watched the world burn but eventually the "nonchalant" dad who's super op isn't gonna be a good excuse forever, it was fine in the early episodes but now we taking about 9th dimensional beings. He had to step in now at least, that and the idea of death was trivialized by the silver tablet, death needs to have meaning, and this is the literary device that will be used to make Leo have another drive. Lots of words but yea

And all of that to justify killing the only semi interesting character in the story? He could have just over taken his father in time without the need for all this..the enemies could have just destroyed the entire zone they live in and injure his father enough so his power drops a few levels...pretty sure ur entire zone getting destroyed is enough reason for him to power up..there are multiple ways this could have been handled without killing probably the most likeable character in the novel...author is getting lazy after 2000 chaps since he knows people will read anyway

Part 2 of explanation. Leo had no reason to get stronger him saving the dimension verse or unifying it, we been there done that. He no longer has that motivation after know it was a simulation. So you're telling me that would be the better outcome than having actual person in the story and characters, and that the death of Vel was the easy way out 🤯. You are surely tripping the easy way out is to pull some b*llsh*t to save the character for future use, instead of killing the character and having to conceptualize what the MC will now have to do given his dad was killed in front of him . Your being short sighted and pushing a narrow minds set on the author then calling it lazy, how would it be explained that the seemingly op dad of to the MC didn't have his own thoughts and desires the idea of death is brushed off about in this series and the only times it mentioned in a serious way is when, they talk about Aina's mom and Vel 's father both of these events dictated the character development of both aina and Vel. Now take that away what would be the likeable part of the character of he just doesn't feel threatened by anything. Vel has a weak point and that's the three finger cult and the death of his dad/Leo's grand father, so in essence that topic when touched upon should make Vel throw out his jokey personally and become more serious which is what we saw this chapter and gone, and of we think of it he had to be sacrificed it heavy need after this fight.
