This was a surprisingly pleasant novel. To me it felt like a more balanced and less monotonous "Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years", or maybe early "A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality". The MC is incredibly cautious, has a 'cheat' which is his unending vitality/unlimited lifespan, and happily uses it to his advantage to make logical choices which mitigate his risk. Unsure whether there might be danger in a relic/tomb? He'd rather spend 10 years training pawns to explore it than risk death. Unlike Top Tier Providence, this story introduces new information, places, people, lots of research. Rather than straight "cultivation" where you can sit on the spot and wait hundreds/thousands of years for a slight increase in power, the MC is a "mage/wizard" who seeks knowledge, does experiments, creates power bases of people to get him resources / help his research etc.

A worse quality "Warlock in a magus world" however the concept has potential its just that the translations are iffy where they change names then change them back... this happens with the title of count and earl too... it p*ss*s me off. It's a decent story I just wish they spent more time diving into it and giving it more depth... cough
This novel is literally just something to read when your waiting for other ones to update lmao
So for me this isn't a good read. It seems like at points where there's supposed to be something felt there just nothing. It's because the main character just tends to not very much care about anything, and if the main character doesnt care about anything how are we supposed to care? I will admit there are a few times where the character REALLY cares about something but even at those times the writer just brushes past it so quickly that there's no time to process the information or feel something. Just a line or 2 of text and that's it. If there points were expended on more I would love this novel a whole lot.
