Summary

Eli was transmigrated to a world of magic and became immortal.

He had endless life and could never die.

“Huh? I’m talentless? Then, I’ll just train for as long as I need, even if it takes 1000 years. That should be enough for me to become strong.”

“The skill is hard to learn? Then, I’ll take a few dozens of years to research it. There’s no way it’s that hard, right?”

“What? I can sacrifice my life force to gain spirit power? That’s a bargain!”

“The enemy is here? Hell, I’ll just hide for 10000 years. Let’s see if he can outlive me. I’ll come out once he’s dead.”

This is the story of an immortal who first struggled to live in the world of magic until he became strong enough to slaughter endless worlds.

This novel is actually quite good I was looking for a novel about an immortal person and I found this I found it interesting how they incorporated a way of making time go fast but also making it detailed of what happened during that time skip and the mc is built good his personality is also well made it seems that you should read this novel if you have papatientce and want a long term novel I recommend this.

Here's my review: 5/10 overall Its good at the start. Mc doesnt really need to fight by himself, the other people will fight for him. He doesnt provoke everyone, stays lowkey, no harem, which is good. However its get bads in the future chap. It gets repetitive, the major forces keeps appearing endlessly then the mc face slap those who look down on him. This keeps going on endlessly. The author should be more focus on the main plot which is persuing the truth and more. No need to add those nonsencical plot who have nothing to do with it just to have few more chapters like major forces then war, then another more major of the major forces appear then war. This is truly disapointing the author destroy his masterpiece. I was truly invested in this novel but ended up frustrated because of the repetition. I am at 350+ then i dropped i couldnt take it anymore. Then more female characters keeps appearing then this will turn into harem. Lastly the translation is quite poor, the names are mess

So it ends on ch 557? Author posted 'closing remarks' so I'm guessing so.

If it ends on 557 imma put laxatives in the authors drinks until he properly finishes the story. I want a reunited mage world with Eli as the hidden top player beating the sh*t out of the other race. Maybe an infiltration arc or something where Eli lives among the other race and steals their techniques

This is a tl with chatgpt of that notice by the author, the ending part: "" So, this book concludes here. Let the confetti fly! Next, I'll be taking the postgraduate entrance examination, and of course, that's also an important reason for my decision to end it. As I mentioned before, some readers are aware of it. However, during this period, I persisted in finishing this volume and providing a so-called ending. I did my best! Everyone, destiny may bring us together again. If we're destined to meet, see you next year! I hope I get accepted. Keep going and charge ahead! "" Although the title says "Volume 3" and says "This book is complete", so I hope he refers to volume 3, even then it seems he's taking a long break.

I hope so, but I'm not sure. If you google the name of the novel '巫师世界的永生者', the first link has the raws. The last chapter is like an 'author remarks' kind of reflection thing. He posted it on May 8th, and after that nothing more, and he was posting every day (I think) before that. Not only that if you grab that, and put it into something like ChatGPT, which is a lot better at translating than random MTLs or Google, it kind of feels like his message is about it being done, but I am not sure whether he means the entire thing or just the latest volume. (It has some spoilers about the ending, although it's not too surprising). He also mentions about going to postgrad, and says "See you next year" or something.

It's actually Volume 3 if you look in the raws. It says Volume 3, End.

Read about 350 chapters in. I'll give this novel a solid 6/10. It's not a masterpiece by any means but it's a solid junk food novel if you're caught up on everything else. It's basically a clone of top tier providence and warlock of the magus world but it doesn't really capture either genre well. The first 200 chapters show the mc going through lots of characters development as evil ancient lich type character that only cares about himself and then all of that is thrown out with a massive tonal shift in the later chaps in favor of your typical overly emotional underestimated mc cliche. My biggest gripes with this novel is the convenience plot armor. Everything he needs gets handed to him on a silver platter, He never faces enemies that are stronger than himself or even on the same strength level. The MC is not pushed and there is no suspense. The power creep is annoying too as it leads to the author hyping up one person and then turning them into cannon fodder later on.

I've just read 50+ chapters of top tier providence because you mentioned it in a better light compared to Immortal in the Magic World. Such a waste of time. It's way better at being mindless repetitive garbage, with cultivation levels just being numbers and with constant reminders of how handsome and cowardly the mc is. But something tells me that's not what you meant. Warlock of the Magus World on the other hand is indeed far more detailed when it comes to world building and power systems. It's quite good 👍

I'll probably catch flack for it bit I wouldn't consider TTP to be a masterpiece. It just gained popularity for being different. Which was refreshing at the time but now that it gained popularity we've been getting an onslaught of cowardly immortal mcs who run at the first sign of danger and just accrue power behind the scenes. Only to come out with an OP show of power every once in awhile. It can be considered the predecessor of all these long lived or pseudo immortal mcs. It started the trend. Novels like this one are just continuing it. This one was plenty blatant where it got its inspiration from though with frequent nods to the source. Like getting curse powers which was the MC of TTPs hallmark. TTP is pretty solid though. It's not a fast paced novel but it gained popularity because it's stability and consistency. Fast food tier novel but like high class fast food. The burger King of webnovels.

Gets better when he leaves Bryne and real good when he leaves for central continent. Id say the start is quite decent aswell, but theres a lot of boring chapters once his friends start dying (still in Bryne). Later his newfound friends have lengthier lifespan making it an actual novel instead of a sad story of his friends dying from old age
