This novel is too shallow, the plot too predictable, mc can persevere for no reason (what led him to act that way, you can't empathize), everything goes according to plan , no struggle. I only read 300 chapters but Should I endure? Or drop

This was the novel that get me into cultivation world. Good time
I read it years ago, but today, a random thought ventured into my brain concerning body cultivation. During the life destruction stage of essence cultivation, he destroys his whole body to remake it with pure essence, but his body cultivation stays the same. So every change he made to his body can be made with pure essence. If the parts of the body that he changed during body cultivation did not get destroyed, it would make sense, but the author said he destroyed 100%. What's the point of him risking his life for some spiritual weed then?
Warning ahead of time this story is good until you get to the last 400 or so chapters. Genuinely one of the worst ending to any novel I’ve ever read form any genre. Big events brushed over, characters forgotten, the ending was borderline just a cliffhanger with little to no conclusion at all. All of that said if your as bored as I am read it anyways, just know that the ending is incredibly rushed.
Love how Lin Ming isn't plotting like most MCs, instead choosing to stick to his heart of martial arts causing him to avoid compromise and beat the cr*p out of people even when he could realistically let them go. Love it.
Up to the point where I'm reading (395) I still never see the mc lost.I think the mc has a lil bit too much plot armour and the reason why the mc won was that the enemy haven't accumulated destiny is cr*p destiny is like plot armour and luck.
I read true martial world thinking it was martial world, Later found out it's the sequel to this novel. For those who read both which is better?
