Whoa there. The problem with chats, and texting over the internet is that there is a lack of crucial conversation variables like tone and volume, so i think all of us are misunderstanding each other. i think there are two [earth cultivator and uncle immortal i forgot his name} so far and 3 women

They are useful to the story. They give the mc someone to talk to and be an actual human with. Could they be dudes and have the story still work? Yes. But the target audience prefers females to males. Simple as that. If they were not there and the mc just powered up without ever talking to anyone this novel would be far lower in the ranking.
