        at the top right of the page of any novel chapter there should be a little cog or a settings icon. If you click that then it will give you a list of options and one of them includes a language setting which as far as im aware has most languages in the world as an option.

    Dropped after he killed yao le. I understand being d*ck to sm that might harm you, but that was just stupid without any justification. Usually in books i'm looking for pleasant story about trying to be better. Can't find it here. MC is moraly blank. Couldn't find anything that would keep me from dropping. After 150 chapters im tired of new kinds of gu, i understand that's its all about it but its not that interesting. MC got cicada gu from start, that gu doesnt need to Feed atm, what a coincidence... quessing in future its gonna OP, too OP.

      My man looking for Character Development in a character that has Regressed 500 Years. Just wow man just f*cking wow. Isn't it obvious that he has had development in those 500 years and because of which he is what he is now? He must have faced all kinds of horrible things in the past, because of which his morals has been distorted. Just imagine, how much pain and struggle he must've went through to become the so called 'morally-blank' from a normal scholar on Earth? Right? As for the Cicada Gu, it is a game changer. Yes. But without Fang Yuan's hardwork, perseverance, Intelligence, cunningness, cruelty, the Cicada Gu would be useless. As it does not give you a DETROIT SMASH to smack the hell the outta your enemies rather, it acts like a support. Not to mention, once he becomes a Rank-6 Gu master is when the Real sh#t starts. That's when the story pops off like a rocket and shines in the sky.

      Bro I didn't read your full comment but I get the gist of what you are trying to say, sorry but you seem to not understand what this book is about. You complain that fang yuan has no character development and that his personality is stagnant and he should better himself as a person but he is not that kind of person. Fang yuan doesn't need character development or to develop as a person he already has a personality and he is a very solid character. The main premise of the story isn't about fang yuan developing as a person but rather his search for eternal life. The author has already told you that this novel is dark so why would you want a character like fang yuan someone who is an opportunist, a manipulative and cunning man to all of a sudden learn the value of human life when he lives in a world were you will be used, suppressed, discarded or sacrificed at any given time. His character has already been built all you have to do is understand who he is is rather than look for change.

        I understand the concept of dark novel, but even if someone is oppurtunist, killing anyone who is harmless is pointless. Its take around 18 years for human to be usefull for anything, i dont mean even society. Its a lot of time too grow up. Wont even mention the amount of goods needed to be given to be usefull. Killing someone without any reason is stupid beyond reason. He is schemer, rights? Use that instead. Make Use of people. He was leader of demon sect, he sure knows how to. MC is suppose to be this almost all knowing guy with stable mind yet he don't get this. Dissapointing. I believe that astory about his dark past would be much more interesting.

        The fact you replied in this way just proved that you didn't read this novel. The MC is many things but he is not bloodthirsty. For every action he takes and every person he kills there is a motive and a reason. Either to eliminate that person or to further his own goal or to increase his cultivation their deaths all have a reason but not a justifiable one cause the MC is a evil person not a moralistic and saintlike character. This novel is not for you if you seriously couldn't pick that up in the first 100 chapters of reading the book. Just drop it and enjoy reading isekai novels where MC does everything he can to get his D*ck wet.

        Can't you just be polite? It might be not for me cuz i can't stand zero character develop. It's not even about him being stoic, its just being on same stable 0 level. How lucky he was that he found Monk inheritance cave and liquor worm. Coincidence rights? Almost when he was out of funds. Oh my. Chill mate. Read more about gu's to calm down, that might be needed.

        Bro it's a cultivation novel it's one hundred percent believable that he found the monks inheritance, after all the situation that lead up to that are actually normal for this kind of story.       Mc is evil He doesn't need justification to kill someone, it was already clearly mentioned that mc is evil in the very first chapter. He killed that girl because she was being a hindrance but she was also a opportunity for mc, He used that girl as a refinement product. He fed her to bear and then ate the bear to increase his cultivation. Mc only kills when necessary, I don't see any problems. . It's not a novel where mc finds a jade like beauty and becomes a better person. Nah Mc is evil, a villain.If you can't stand such thing. I am happy you dropped the novel . You may call me edgy, and yes I'm edgy I like dark fantasy stories . And Spring autumn cicada feds on river of time and it's not op op, it also have drawbacks

    After the fate war it just kinda went downhill for me. more like i dont have the same intrest anymore. like new villians resurrecting and all the venerables also coming again feels a bit lame after all that happened. Tell me if the stroy continues to be good or if its the same scheming and fighting all over again so that i can continue reading
