Currently on book 27 The story isn't that boring, its pretty great Felt there's way more sad part than happy part tho. It's also pretty fast paced, it like in one chapter he's fighting against a school bully and in tens of chapter he fight a veteran mercenary
All they do is train, kill and party and im absolutely here for it
This novel is one of the greatest in the genre. This is a classic, some peeps even come back sometimes to read it again. From this book, many others stemmed. Ji Ning's story is an archetype of protagonists after. This joint came out ages ago. Still, the point remains, if you like the whole "from mortality to immortality" xianxia novels, you'll like this. It has unique points of it's own. I'll tell you this though, the title doesn't become relevant till near the end. Look, I'm not saying more, read it if you care to.

This is a great novel , had a smooth start and then it continued to meet my expectations. It's genuinely a very well written and complex novel. The author goes deep into the philosophical aspect in the character development and there aren't any filler chapters . To me this was highly engaging and was a fun read.
Good novel, the only thing i don't like is the mc's handsome face... Like if i ever write a book about a swordmaster, i'd make him with long hair and beard, looking very experienced in life and swords. Like in vagabond's manga. Sorry if i wrote gramatic errors, english is not my native language!🤭
can some one tell me about he personality later in the novel because i'm think about droping it because i feel like he too kind-hearted like when he just killed river he for killing spring grass and refuses to kill the rest of his family say i had only beef with river he and not his family so i won't kill them, i feel like it gonna cause problem for MC later down the line does he change's he personality and stop the problem from the root or not ??????
