    alright lets see what this novel has got, hopefully it's good but I can tell you from experience that a lot of things can go wrong in 2000+ chapters super gene was like this, it was nice at the start but started messing up more and more along the way, but hey, the comments are good despite it having 2000+ chapters so thats a great sign but then why would it still be at rank 200? oh well, enough thinking, lets dive in.

    I have read many martial arts story, and I dropped more because of poor written love story in them, or having a bad harem. Now, I am in chapter 4, and I can surely say that I lived this 4 chapters. Great story, great translations. I hope this line of amazingness continues. Although the general environment of the story is like other MA stories, but this story transfer the emotion perfectly. Next comment after chapter 140.

    I made it to chapter 2254 but i can't with it no more. The way the author uses plot to make the main antagonist survive time and time again makes me wanna cough out blood. the mc is truly one in a million peak utter *D**T!!! he fails to kill the MA multiple times and when it seems like it's finally over he decides to make speech for the MA and yes you guessed it he fkn managed to escape for the 57th time. AHHHHHH this monk is truly outraged! Gotta go into seclusion to recover from this trash and stabilize my mind so i don't become the first monk to go into qi deviation from rage.

      Ik the feeling I've read and re-read this novel like twice and I still can't finish it, don't get me wrong I enjoyed most of it especially the start, but the last two hundred or so chapters are just really hard to read. Same exact problem I had with Super Gene and a few other long novels like this.

    I’m at chapter 85 and I love the fact that there is severe consequences to reincarnation rather than other webnovels just glossing over mcs reincarnation and making him op for no reason with no consequences. The characters seem really fleshed out so far and I like that

    Mc is an interesting guy who surprisingly dont want to go back to his original world as every other transmigrator after his second life in this world his only goal is to save this world from the incoming calamity and protect the people he loves, he does EVERYTING and ANYTHING necessairy to do so, which gave him this rutheless air but not to the extent that he turns evil or psycho, our mc is a good man who loves and cherishes his family and the people of his country, respect everyone even the commoners but when things get heated he will be the first to trample on the people scheming in the shadows,he doesn't get anything for free and he works hard, all in all a rare yet admiarable Mc that you may look up to. Really recommened this one

      Ah you mean, a generic cultivation-type? The one who vow to protect his family and shout justice? . Yeah dude, there's nothing rare about this story at all. It's just a classic. Well there's nothing wrong with that though

        it's a very well written novel especially compared to other novels with the same trope, I like how it also focuses on politics. The author made a great job fleshing out the characters. All in all, as an author too, this novel not only was only a good read, but was also a great example for me on how to write novels better

    As of chapter 2200+ and still going gotta say : This isn't your typical murim world story, it focuses more on the politics of the court and management of the country, but don't get me wrong there is still a ton of fighting and action icluded with a slight romance here and there. It is in my opininion a very well written wuxia, there is a lot of information included about the life of ancient dynasties of china as well as a smart analogy between real life and fantasy, it has a lot of schemes and smart discussion not your typical useless dialogues.

      This has no harem. I think what the author has done here is in the first 100 chapters he included quite a few females to attract that typical c**mbrain reader, after things start to pickup the attention on females almost dissapears. Then once in a while they get a chapter or two. After familiarising with chinese xanxia I suspect that author was required to include this to be allowed to be published in china (also following guidelines like not critising the government in this case the emperor etc)

      Edit: Author just likes to -very rarely like- make some women express interest in MC to give us impression that MC is popular. That is the only purpose of those fangirls, however they never participate in story and dont hover around MC. They are like extra characters shoved into the novel to occasionally and rarely think about how handsome MC is. This novel is all political and military struggle and there is no room for anything else. Even FL has very few and short appearances.

      There is no harem in this novel. Although it does give a very strong false indications of harem after the battle of the southeast (2nd arc) , the women disappear before the start of the 3rd arc, and MC falls in love with the one and only FL. They are loyal to each other, and there will be no more fangirling over MC. You can skip the dialogues and monologues of the fangirls, you wont miss any details, those fangirls never say or discuss anything important. Also they have very few and short appearances like paragraphs long and then they disappear.
