    Tried to read again from the time Maxi and Riftan's last convo, yet its a very heart-piercing moment until the moment when Riftan tried to catch her at the dock, . Emotionally, heartbreaking, and still waiting for updates hoping the author would still let the team translate it.

    I honestly don't get why people like this novel so much from my opinion the female lead is just too weak for me to be able to enjoy this novel 200 chapters in and the female lead keeps on stuttering every single sentence and can never keep her cool. i think sometimes weak female leads that gradually grow stronger with the novel can sometimes be really good but this is just too much and for the first like 40 chapters the female lead can barely even say a single sentence from how much she is stuttering and is always "trembling with fear". and every single time she sees a monster she freezes and everytime the male lead goes to kill monsters she still freezes and doesn't do anything and just cries pass not the novel for me

      About stuttering. . . well, I have a friend in college who stuttered even when he's not anxious. Not a very badly stuttering, but yes, he stutters, even until now when he's already a highschool teacher. So I think it's just as Ruth said once: you can treat illness, but you can't treat defect.

      Hi Latidy, I understand where you are coming from. I also did feel a bit frustrated for the first half of the book when Max didn't stop stuttering and feeling scared. Maxi suffers from insecurity and is not confident at all due to her past trauma and life experience. However, she is strong when it comes to giving all of herself for others, which she does multiple times and almost gets killed but ends up accomplishing amazing feats. The fact that she doesn't care enough about herself and doesn't see her own worth brings her to that edge makes her just as reckless as Riftan. But over time, she also gains more confidence and she goes on to become a stronger person and even stops stuttering (mostly) . I think if you are willing to read a bit more than you will see that this book is amazing because it feels real. IRL, people don't get over their traumas so easily, and the way Maxi acts towards the world isn't so far from crazy, it's accurate.

    Im so upset ridi asks for personal infoand worse your paying money for subpar english( you have to use google translate)!! While on webnovel isnt anywhere near updated and that one has proper english 70 sumthing chaps(on webnovel) when Ridi has over 350 sumtin chaps in total

    Is Ridi better than WebNovel because I’m not paying $50 for chapters I’ve already read 😩 I just want to start where we left off and support from there 😅😂 WebNovel is not user friendly… and Ridi seems to already be complicated… Woe is me…

      Ridi is soooo much better! Im already on chapter 320+ i think hahaha Yes it seems complicated at first but once you got ur age proven, it’s easy! I bought 100, 000 korean won and got 5, 000won for free. So it’s a total of around 83$ for 1050 chapters. I think it’s really cheap :)
