What happens when a scientist from a futuristic world reincarnates in a World of Magic and Knights? An awesome MC is what happens! A scientist’s goal is to explore the secrets of the universe, and this is exactly what Leylin sets out to do when he is reincarnated. Dark, cold and calculating, he makes use of all his resources as he sets off on his adventures to meet his goal. Face? Who needs that… Hmmm… that guy seems too powerful for me to take on now… I better keep a low profile for now. You want me to help you? Sure… but what benefit can I get out of it? Nothing? Bye. Hmmm… that guy looks like he might cause me problems in the future. Should I let him off for now and let him grow into someone that can threaten me….. Nahhh. *kill*-
Alternative: Leylin is transported from an advanced technological era into a medieval world— except there’s magic. Equipped with “only” his quick wits and an A.I. chip fused to his soul, he sets out to become the most powerful magus the world has ever known. In a land divided into the Light and Dark Magi, the weak can either be cattle or disposable slaves. Only the strong can determine their lives, and only they have the luxury for virtue. Yet strength is only a tool for Leylin, like any other. His goal, in the end, is his own.

So does this have science elements like TOMA
Before reading Lotm and RI it used to be my favorite fantasy novel but still for the newbies who have just started reading novels it is one of the best option for diving into the wonderful world of Novels (strongly recommend)
One of the first novels i read - made me read reverend insanity, Lotm, city of sin straight after going to wait so i forget what happens in the novel so i can re read and enjoy 9/10
it is nano machine but with magic
Does any fellow daoist know about more novels like this with the MC having a biochip.
Read this years ago.The worldbuilding is fantastic and the romance was great
Let’s see…..
I am rereading
Ch. 135 Can someone help me understand our mc cuz I don't know if he is cruel or kind or just dumb. When he talks with Ivy he tells her that all is fair in the magus world and there should be an equal exchange so him taking blood from her to bring her to her destination makes sense. Then him rejecting her to bring her with him also makes sense cuz she has no value to him. But a few chapters before we see him saving bicky and putting his life on the line for no reason. Then even worse, he gives her family his grind water for a mistake she made but he gets nothing out of it. He even kills fayle for her. So are you telling me all you have to do is have s*x with mc and you are good? That's the only reason I can think of for him doing all of that for bicky. P.S. There is also Anna but that one makes sense cuz he was never coming back so making her leader was alright.
I loved this series, was my first light novel and got me into reading light novels, MC is a villain and I love a good villain serires.
